Student Volunteer Opportunities in the Parish

Students, there are so many opportunities for you to serve your community! Please check all the teams you are interested in being a part of. If there is a specific gift or talent you would like to use for the glory of God, please fill in the box titled “other.”

Music/Worship Team (helping to lead Praise and Worship for Adoration Nights and Retreats when available) Leadership Team (an opportunity for older students to minister to their peers by giving talks, leading small groups, planning retreats etc.) Liturgical Team (serve St. Matthew’s by being a Lector, Greeter, Usher, Cantor etc.) Support Team (assist in creating social media posts, writing thank you cards, writing Bulletin reflections every once in a while, helping organize the occasional closet) Other

Parent Volunteer Opportunities in Life Teen

Please check all that apply. Life Teen is not possible without the generous support of parents and volunteers. There are many opportunities we could use help with that range from a huge time commitment to a tiny one. Truly there is something for everyone! If your specific gift or talent is not listed below, please select other and let us know how you would best like to volunteer.

Snack Team (help to provide snacks, drinks or dessert for Life Teen nights twice a semester) Dinner Team (keep our students fed by volunteering to help cook once a semester) Dinner Support Team (make a donation of $50 to help buy dinner for a Life Teen Night) Mission Trip Team (drive, chaperone, fundraise, pray, there are too many opportunities to list! More details will come closer to Summer) Retreat Team (again: drive, chaperone, lead small groups, pray, there are so many opportunities for the multiple retreats we put on each year! More details to come) Support Team: (assist in administrative work throughout the year, pray for Life Teen, write Bulletin reflections every once in a while etc.) I have an older child or family member who would love to also help out!
