Well Played: A Songwriters' Night Sponsorship Form

Saturday, September 27 | Education in Haiti and Our Lady of Miracles Catholic School.
Approximately 90% of the schools in Haiti are privately owned and operated by churches and NGOs. Our Lady of Miracles School teaches Pre-K through 12th grade and educates over 350 students. We employ one principal, 30 full and part-time teachers and nine additional support workers to operate the school and feed
the children a rice and bean lunch every day. If they are able, OLOM parents pay $10 a month for tuition fees to help cover items such as chalk, paper and pens. Initially the school educated K – 6th grade but expanded in recent years to include Pre-K and a secondary school creating the need for additional classrooms.

For the 15th year in a row, Saint Matthew Catholic Church is excited to host Well Played: A Songwriters Night on September 27, 2025, benefitting our sister parish and school, Our Lady of Miracles, in Gobert, Haiti. These include covering the cost to build a new classroom, install windows in the school, and installing doors at the school. We ask for your generous support as we continue to serve those most in need in our sister community.

In the past 14 years, this event has raised over $275,000. In recognition of our 15th year, we plan to focus on education this year and the church’s need to finish their school expansion.
